Howie is CEO of Housing Services Corporation (HSC) and Encasa Financial, which operates HSC’s Capital Reserves Investment Program. HSC provides various bulk purchasing programs and business solutions services to help service managers and community housing providers manage their portfolios more effectively. Howie extensive experience also includes his role as President of HPC Housing Investment Corporation, which offers fixed, long-term financing for new affordable housing projects.
Prior to HSC, Howie practiced business law for over 18 years before serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC), the largest social housing provider in Canada with over 165,000 tenants and $6B housing portfolio.
